We are based in Southern Nevada and specialize in serene Sit-On-Top kayaking!

The Creek Beavers Kayaking Club, in Las Vegas, was established June 24, 2007 on the very day of the infamous California Lake Tahoe fire. It was our first ever kayak outing and we were there at the moment the Angora fire roared itself into being just a few miles from where we were kayaking on the lake.

The view of South Lake Tahoe above just ten minutes before the historical Angora Fire breaks out on our first ever Creek Beavers kayak outing.

South Lake Tahoe beach below, Monday morning, the day after the fire. All watercraft access to the lake was cancelled due to the severity of the burn spread and almost zero visibility on the lake water.

Our mission is simply to be safe with serious fun while kayaking the waters of the North American Continent. We do not hold regular meetings but choose instead to share fresh water kayaking adventures from across our vast country and across Canadian/USA borders.

Our requirement to be a Creek Beaver is that members must carry one plastic bag on their watercraft and use it when they pause for a land stop. This bag serves to help clear our lake and river beaches of the inconsiderate actions of irresponsible people who leave their trash behind in the wild.

Our founders are wildlife conservationists. They feel it's important to keep our beaches safe for all mammals including the human kind. It also serves as a responsible example for other watercraft boaters to do the same.

Kayaking is good—

—For my soul, inner spirit and piece of mine!

How do you have fun?

How do you relax?

The world is not my oyster—

It's my whole bathtub!

There is so much in life to enjoy, to see, to embrace...

Don't let the negatives that surround you be indicators of how you should live...

Look for the positive in other people.

Do one random act of kindness every day.

It's your choice you know—

You can choose to be a negative which will make you a miserable person.

Or

You can become a positive that reflects good in other people.

Goodness is contagious...

BE CONTAGIOUS!
